So West, So Wild is a Finalist for Best Anthology!

Many of the authors you hear on Booktalk are connected by a community called the Desert Sleuths Chapter of the Sisters in Crime.  Every year the Sleuths publish an anthology, a collection of mystery and suspense centered around a given theme. For 2011,  the theme was the American West and thus was born So West, So Wild.

Here at Booktalk, we just got word from the Deborah J. Ledford, our first  guest author and the lead editor of So West, So Wild that the anthology is a finalist for Best Anthology of 2011 in Suspense Magazine! Big shout outs to all the authors who participated in the collection, including our very own Dr. Howard Carron and recent guest Martin Roselius!

Check out the December 2011 issue of Suspense Magazine for more info!
